This adjustable thermostat control is designed to automatically regulate the solar fan's operation based on a user-adjusted set temperature level, which signals the attic fan to turn off once the desired temperature has been reached, and turn on when the temperature rises 15° above the setting. Choose a location where the box can be suspended from a rafter and the sensor is not blocked, then mount using wood screws. Your preferred temperature setting depends on average regional temperatures—a setting too low will run the solar attic fan continuously, and a setting too high will result in insufficient air turns for proper ventilation.
